Dan brings a wealth of life and employment experience to his role as Online Dispute Resolution (“ODR”) Coordinator with Patey Mediations.

Commencing in 2005, Dan worked for the Regional Municipality of Halton for a decade in various supervisory positions, assisting elderly, disabled and low-income individuals in housing and employment support.

Dan spent four years at the Ontario College of Trades, in his positions as Trade Analyst, then Manager of Policy and Research. In 2018, he moved to a Managerial position at the Ministry of Labor, followed by a secondment in 2019 at the Ministry of Training Colleges and Universities.

Dan graduated with the Certificate in ODR from Osgoode Hall Law School at York University in 2020. Currently, in his spare time, he is enrolled in the Astronomy and Planetary Sciences program at Arizona State University.

Dan is fluent in German. He is a proud father of 2 and grandfather of 5. In his new role at Patey Mediations, Dan is responsible for scheduling mediations, coordination of zoom invitations, and accounts. You will find Dan most helpful in arranging mediations for your clients.
